What is Renaissance?
It is a movement involving educators, students, parents, and business leaders with a mission of "INCREASING ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN OUR SCHOOLS."

What is the purpose of Renaissance?

• Create high academic standards

• Increase status for educators

• Make it "cool to be in school"

• Partner schools and businesses for a stronger community

• Respect, recognize, reward, and reinforce positive performance if students & staff

Goals of Renaissance:

• Increase student grades (GPA's)

• Increase ACT/SAT scores

• Increase attendance levels

• Increase honor roll

• Increase positive behavior

• Increase college acceptances

The Renaissance Program at Logan Elm High School will recognize the following students:

• Excel in the classroom with a 3.25 GPA and above

• Recognize students with excellent attendance

• Recognize students with no discipline problems

• Recognize students who improve their academic performance

• Student/Athletes who participate in extra-curricular activities and excel in the classroom with a 3.25 GPA and above

Results of a strong Renaissance program will be evidence by:

• Improved academic performance by all students

• Improved recognition by LEHS/community/businesses for student academic performance

• Increased graduation rates

• Increased student attendance rates

• Creating a positive, safe school environment

The Renaissance Program at Logan Elm High School can promote your business on our campus and in the community if you would like your business to help:

• Improve academic achievement

• Increase business traffic

• Increase community behavior

• Be involved in the largest grassroots movement in America to benefit our youth

• Donate services, merchandise, or promotional items as incentives

• Financial support for corporate sponsorship, T-shirts, and awards
