Ohio Graduation Test (OGT)
It is a state requirement for the students graduating after 2006 to pass the OGT in order to receive their high school diploma. Before the OGT students were required to pass the Proficiency test, but the State Board of Education accepted the OGT to make sure students have the knowledge they need to be successful in the working world and in higher education. Students will be tested in five subjects, mathematics, reading, writing, social studies, and science.
Testing will take place March 14-18, 2005.
